During recovery from the pandemic, High Peak Borough Council commissioned Vision Buxton to produce a new promotional video for the town funded by Government Welcome Back funding. Initially a visitor-economy video, its brief changed to be one promoting the town to new businesses and those seeking a new place to live. Delayed due to production issues (including lots of poor weather reducing filming opportunities), the video is now available to watch and share.
The video aims to encourage businesses, would-be-business owners and home-movers to come and take a look at the town.
Lorraine Wright, Head of Regeneration at High Peak Borough Council, said:
“This video showcases the beautiful town of Buxton and the opportunities it affords to investors. The Council is progressing plans to rejuvenate the area around Spring Garden and create a town centre that’s fit for the future and which meets the needs of residents, businesses and visitors. So this is the ideal time to shine a light on the town’s potential and this video plays a key role in doing that so please share it with your contacts and networks.”
