This new marketing toolkit ‘Refreshingly Buxton‘ was developed as part of High Peak Borough Council’s Visitor Economy Strategy for Buxton. It was announced in June 2021 and launched in the autumn 2021. It replaces the previous ‘England’s Leading Spa Town’ toolkit which was developed in 2014.

The Buxton marketing toolkit (2021) should only be used in connection with business and activity within Buxton and its surrounding area (SK17 postcode).

It should be used positively, to the benefit of the image of the town.

It should be used to express a sense of pride in our town.

It should be used to reinforce the key messaging:

  • Buxton’s location and role within the Peak District
  • Buxton is friendly and welcoming
  • Buxton is spirited and independent – we do things differently here
  • Buxton is the best of both worlds – you can do it all here
  • A visit here can be refreshing, relaxing, revitalising

You should not share or sublicense the toolkit and its resources with any other party – please ask them to sign up themselves.
