We had a very interesting and enjoyable visit to HSL on 3rd May. We had a tour of the building and were able to see some of the wide range of facilities at HSL in Harpur Hill.
These include laboratories for measuring the slip resistance of floors and footwear, or for working with very loud and very quiet sounds. Outside, we saw how research is carried out using the railway track, the 25m tower and the burn hall. All in all, an insight into how Buxton is helping Great Britain work well!
