Buxton Sparkles is a community group working with the community for the community.
We aim to bring local people together and create events that will not only bring a smile to the faces of those involved but to also bring a little sparkle to the streets of Buxton.
We want to encourage the goodwill and involvement of the wider community by organising and getting involved with various events such as the Winter Lantern parade, The Christmas Lights Switch On and occasional summer events.
We run workshops for families, schools, young children and the elderly housebound in an effort to bring all generations together in a community celebration. Buxton Sparkles is a non-profit making organisation and will use money raised by fundraising, grants or sponsorship to achieve its objectives and to support selected charities.
Our aim is to encourage creativity, extend people's skills and bring some fun into people lives.
