High Peak Foodbank and Zink
Employability is seeking an honorary Charity Secretary and honorary Finance Director for this forward thinking and rapidly developing charity.
Charles Jolly is retiring as the treasurer and secretary so the trustees need to recruit volunteers for these posts to take the Charity forward.
Charles tells us that with 4 permanent members of staff (potentially more) and a turnover of around £100,000 p.a. (potentially increasing), not to mention the complexities of Lottery funding, ESF funding (for the time being!), a service level agreement with Bare Necessities in Glossopdale and the development of the Employability Project (including working with the College) the roles are exciting and fairly demanding and will require some experience.
They might suit recently retired people but he thinks that they could also be attractive to a young professional who wanted to make a significant contribution to the community while adding working with a cutting-edge charity to their CV.
