The organisation has six sub-groups – Membership, Consultation and Representation, Finance, Marketing, Projects and Events.  Directors are involved with all groups, and report back to the board on a regular basis, but do not necessarily chair the committees.

Tasks carried out by the six groups range from planning for a business incubator unit for Buxton to raising funds to enhance the Christmas Lights and providing a switch on event for local people.  The Membership Group tries to ensure that Members are provided with value for money by organising Networking Events and Workshops etc, whilst the Marketing Group maintains the extremely successful 'Visit Buxton' website and strives to bring together everyone working in marketing in Buxton to the benefit of the town as a whole.
